Church of the City is pleased to announce the launch of the School of Ministry Incubator Year.

Four courses will be offered by Dr. Ron Walborn leading to a certificate for those who complete three of the four courses.

Graduates will also have the opportunity to apply for a Camino Pilgrimage class called “The Power of Spiritual Pilgrimage” led by Drs. Ron and Wanda Walborn. Graduates of this incubator year certificate program will form the future team of mentors for the COTC School of Ministry. Apply now to jump in on this amazing opportunity.

About Dr. Ron Walborn

Dr. Ron Walborn is on pastoral staff at Church of the City in New York City.

Ron was Director of Urban Initiatives for Asbury Theological Seminary from 2023 to 2025 and now serves on the Board of Trustees for Asbury Seminary.Previously, Dr. Ron served at Nyack College and Alliance Theological Seminary from 1999 to 2023 as professor of Pastoral Theology and the Vice President and Dean of the Seminary.  Ron has a B.A. in History from Nyack College, an M.Div. from Alliance Theological Seminary and a DMin from Fuller Theological Seminary. Ron has pastored Alliance churches in Connecticut and California. Wanda has a B.S. in Elementary Education from Nyack College, an M.A. in Intercultural Studies from Alliance Theological Seminary and a Doctorate of Intercultural Studies from Western Seminary. Both Ron and Wanda have a calling together to bring healing and renewal to the Church in the United States and around the world. They have been married 41 years. Their four adult children are all happily married and have blessed them with seven amazing grandchildren. Ron and Wanda will never turn down a cup of ‘good’ coffee!
