God is moving in New York City, and serving is one of the primary ways we can join Him.
Every week, our Serve Teams create spaces where people encounter God, find community, and take their next step toward Jesus. As we serve, we experience the tangible presence of God, become counter-formed by the way of Jesus instead of the ways of the world, and grow in our capacity to live on mission in New York City.

Connections
The Connections Team help people move from first-time guest to shared-life of the church through Sunday hospitality, fellowship, and clear next steps so that they can be transformed into compelling missional disciples.
Production
The Production Team helps create the spaces where our church gathers to worship, pray, and encounter God. This team works behind the scenes to remove distractions and support every part of our gatherings with excellence, creativity, and care. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided.
Set Up/Tear Down
Set Up + Tear Down helps make Sunday happen—from building the LED wall and setting up speakers, to preparing ministry spaces and packing everything away after service. It’s simple, practical work that gives us an opportunity to serve others, put the needs of our church community first, and practice the way of Jesus.

city kids exists to partner with families by helping children know Jesus and grow as His disciples. Every Sunday, our volunteers create safe, joyful, and engaging spaces where kids are known, loved, and discipled. Whether you're welcoming families, leading a small group, or caring for little ones, you'll play a meaningful role in shaping the faith of the next generation.

The Safety Team partners with our church’s vision by being the eyes, ears, and first response to situations that might disrupt the safety and security of our services and events. Our goal is to help people encounter Jesus by creating safe and secure environments to engage with both God and others.

A staff member or team lead will reach out within a week to schedule a short conversation, walk you through what serving looks like, and get you scheduled for your first Sunday.

Most teams serve on a rotation, roughly one to two Sundays a month, so you're never carrying the whole load alone. Specific rhythms vary by team and your team lead will confirm yours when you connect.

Start with what you already love doing or what pulls at you when you picture Sunday. If you're still not sure, please reach out to us and we will try pair you with a good fit.
